Bungo clothing is one of the latest fashion ventures taking students by storm! I was lucky enough to be invited to try some of their new range….
Bungo Clothing was set up by two Nottingham students, Adam Bodini and James Free, and works with student designers providing them with a platform to showcase their designs. With each designer having their own influence, Bungo has created a current, high quality range of clothing that suits a variety of personal styles. It can be purchased exclusively from their website.

I was really impressed with the clothes - with the prices being pretty competitive, I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality printing. Both the sweatshirt and the t-shirts are made of really soft cotton and I love the attention to detail, such as the seasonal labels. It seems the boys have thought of everything!
Although the clothing is currently aimed at males, they arguably look just as great on girls, particularly with the very on-trend floral prints featuring in this season's range. There is talk of a girls range in the future, so ladies keep your eyes peeled.

The online store is now hosting two other student-run fashion brands and there is scope for this to be expanded in the future. The website also has a blog with news, photography, info on the brands and even a weekly playlist, tying in the founders' other interests with the brand. There is even a phone number for new designers and brands to get in contact, which adds to the personal touch.
I can only think of one potential negative point (and really it's more of a backhanded compliment)... I just wish the range was bigger (although I'm sure that the carefully selected, limited range is all part of the plan for Bungo to keep the brand unique). I really am a fan and it's just that it would be great to see Bungo Clothing's range grow in order to stay dominant on their own website. As more and more brands inevitably will come on board, I look forward to checking out what's in store for us next.
For more information or to place an order (which I highly recommend that you do) go to the Bungo Clothing website.
P.S. I've fallen in love with the sweatshirt. Definitely my favourite.
